Drew this for my birthday to test out my new inking pens. I think they made the difference in this one. Lara Croft. I tried to give her a more of an Angelina Jolie look but it came out more stylized.
Done with a o.5 mm Mechanical Pen and inked with a 0.5mm and an 0.6mm Pigma Sensei Ink pen on 8x10 printer paper.
Reploaded 10/6: I re did the face and think the proportions are better. Hope this satisfies those who felt the face was "off" and also my self doubt about my free-handing skills.
The hair leaves something to be desired. It just looks like you didn't spend much time on it, and it isn't really defined. You could get away with drawing fewer lines, and emphasizing hair highlights and lowlights more.
There are some anatomy problems. Her right elbow looks a little wonky, and her neck may be a bit too thick. These are things that are easily fixed, though.
As for her face, her ear is too far back, and not correctly aligned with her eyes. Placing the ear that far back causes her jawline to become long and masculine, which is not what you are going for (I imagine).
There are a few other things, but I think that if you work on your anatomy a little bit, you'll go far! This really is nice work, just needs tweaking. I'd like to see more from you
